ASI Rajendra Prasad Yadav of Barahapokhari Police Post, who was arrested on charge of trying to rape an 18-year-old girl, has been released on bail on December 21 following the decision of the district court. District Judge Ishwari Prasad Gautam issued the ordered to release ASI Yadav on a bail of Rs. 40,000, said Bhisma Bhattarai, shrestedar at the district court. ASI Yadav was arrested on October 27 on charge of raping the girl with intellectual disability on October 26 while she was sleeping at her room. He was remanded in prison branch Diktel since November 25 on rape attempt case.
