Kaski, Balika balatkar ma sanglagra lai 9 barsa kaid faisala. District court of Kaski has sentenced Soyal Ansari, 24, of Betiya, India and currently living at Lekhnath mucnicipality-1 to 9-year imprisonment on December 21 for of raping a 13-year-old girl. The court has ruled to compensate the victim Rs 1,00,000 from the convict. A single bench of district court judge Ram Prasad Oli had issued a verdict regarding the case. The victim's family lodged a complaint at district police office on July 26 against Ansari accusing him of raping the girl on July 25. He was arrested by the police on July 26 from Parsyang of Pokhara sub-metropolis and was remanded in custody by a court order on August 21. The victim underwent a health checkup at western zonal hospital on July 26.
