Ambika Shrestha, 24, of Ratmaata in Yamkha VDC-9 has filed a complaint at the District Police Office in Diktel on December 27 accusing her husband Naindra Kumar Shrestha, 32, of threatening to kill her. Saying that her husband neglected her son and daughter and repeatedly inflicted physical and mental pain upon her, the victim complained that he tried to set her on fire on December 20. She underwent medical check-up at the District Hospital in Diktel on December 27. Inspector Lal Babu Yadav of the DPO said that the accused would be arrested and action would be taken against him. Likwise, Meena Lamsal, 25, of Diktel municipality-1 has filed a complaint at the DPO seeking action against police constable Ram Bahadur Yadav accusing him of mistreating her. She said that the accused sent her indecent messages in her mobile phone.
