UCPN-M led 30 party alliance and Mohan Baidhya led Communist Party of Nepal- Maoist (CPN-M) has called for a strike in Newa, Tamsaling and Central Region respectively for 13 January. The strike affected districts include Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok, Kavre, Dolkha, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Sindhuli, Dhading, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, and Dhanusha.
