21-year-old Renu Kumari Mahato of Rajbiraj Municipality-4 has filed a case in the Saptari district court seeking a divorce from her husband Bijaya Kumar Mahato for allegedly expelling her from the house and demanding dowry. Renu Kumari has reported that her husband constantly nagged her about dowry and also gave her physical and mental torture. After being expelled from the house Renu Kumari has been taking refuge in the house of Jagashwor Yadav of Rajbiraj-4.
