District Police Office has arrested a couple on the charge of abusing a 40-year-old woman accusing her of being a witch. The woman came to file the complaint against Bisu Tamang, 18 and his wife Dhanmaya Tamang, 19, of Chamkharka, Panauti Municipality-5 on February 27 saying they had abused her on January 28 forced feeding her human excreta. Police arrested them on the basis of her complaint. The woman said that she was late for the complaint because she was under treatment. Police said they arrested the accused and were investigating even if it was a month old case.
