District Court Bhaktapur has remanded Sudarsha Danuwar Rai, 20, of Baluwa VDC-2, Kavre to prison on June 21. He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl on May 25 threatening her. The girl’s father filed the complaint the next day at the police station at Jagati. The accused was arrested in Surya Binayak, Palanse on May 26, and the medical check-up of the girl was conducted at TUTH, Kathmandu. The June 21 decision was made by the district judge Krishna Bhattarai.
