Red Corner notice against eight Nepalis accused of human trafficking

The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has issued a Red Corner diffusion notice against eight Nepalis accused of human trafficking by alluring people of foreign jobs. The intergovernmental organization facilitating international police cooperation issues such as notice for assistance from police organizations of foreign countries if the accused is hiding abroad. Interpol issued the notice on request from Nepal Police for their arrest. Red Corner notice has been issued against Parashuram Gurung, Kishore Rai, Om Prakash Gurung, Durga Niraula, Somnath Niraula, Anjanta Tuladhar Niraula, Binod Pandey and Sanjeev Mudbhari.

Most of them have been accused of duping people by promising them jobs in Thailand, the USA, Korea, Afghanistan, and European and African countries. According to the Nepal-based coordination office of Interpol, Parashuram and Kishore have been accused of inflicting mental torture after taking a huge sum of money for jobs in hotels and airlines of Thailand, South Korea, and Australia.

According to the coordination branch of Interpol in Nepal, Parashuram and Kishor are accused of torturing the victim in hotels and ships for giving them lucrative jobs in hotels and ships in Thailand, South Korea, and Australia and giving fake agreements and demands for foreign employment. A red corner notice has been issued against Om Prakash on the charge of swindling more than Rs 13 Lakh to get employment in the United States. Omprakash of Butwal is accused of cheating Ghimire.

The Nepal-based coordination branch of Interpol has issued a red corner notice on the charge of extorting a large sum of money by giving fake agreements for Rs 350,000 each to Durga, Somnath, and Ajanta of Balaju in Kathmandu. A red corner has been issued against Sanjiv at the request of the Department of Foreign Employment on the charge of swindling Rs 66 Lakh from various people by showing the temptation of lucrative employment in Europe and Africa. A red corner has also been issued against Binod Pandey for foreign employment fraud.
