Cadres of Biplav-led CPN-Maoists smeared black ink on the face of former the Chairperson of Sapteswori Ambulance Service Committee Bhim Bahadur Khadka. They mistreated Khadka, 50, of Rampur Thoksila VDC-7 on August 2. Around seven CPN-M cadres led by district Chairperson of the group Purna Bahadur Gurung smeared black ink on his face at 5 pm in Lal Bahadur Chok on the charges of irregularities while buying and operating ambulance. DSP Jay Raj Sapkota of the District Police Office said that the Lalbazaar police post arrested Purna Bahadur, who was absconding after the incident. DSP Sapkota said that the accused was kept in Area Police Office Rampur and further investigation was ongoing into the incident.
