Police arrested 28-year-old Kiran Kumar Biswokarma, a resident of Rajpaira Tol in Chandrapur municipality-3 on Sunday for allegedly extorting money from vehicles in East-West highway section road in Rautahat. Police arrested Kiran Kumar from the Chande bridge at East-West highway at the east of the Chandranigahapur marketplace while he was collecting donations from vehicles. Police recovered a receipt from Kiran Kumar which suggested that the donation extracted would be used for the sixth general convention of All Nepal Woman's Association (Revolutionary). Police also confiscated the rupees five hundred and eighty that Kiran Kumar had at the time of his arrest. He is being held in Area Police office Chandranigahapur for further investigation. Inspector Rudrakant Jha informed that police had been deployed to nab others involved in extorting money in the name of donation.
