Unidentified men have exploded a powerful bomb in the office of the Karnali Transportation entrepreneurs Association. The bomb went off at 1:25 am during midnight yesterday in the office located at Shantinagar of Jumla district headquarter Khalanga. The bomb explosion has caused major damage to the office. The ticket counter and toilet of a building near the office have been completely destroyed due to the explosion.

Similarly, furniture and other items have also been reported burned due to the explosion. Officials of Karnali transportation entrepreneurs association suspect that the bomb was planted by a group affiliated to Mid-western transportation entrepreneurs association. " We suspect that bomb was planted by the same group."There should be an independent investigation into the incident." said Chandralal Neupane, General Secretary of Karnali Transportation Entrepreneurs Association. SSP Bhog Bahadur Thapa of Karnali Zonal Police Office and DSP Bishnu Hari Koirala have reached the site of the incident. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
