A man accused of thrashing his wife has been arrested by police from Jadibuti, KMC-35 on Friday. The suspect has been identified as Gyan Bahadur Shrestha. Meanwhile, the handcuffed Shrestha also attacked police constable Bhakta Bahadur Gurung while he was taking Shrestha to the Metropolitan Police Sector, Koteshwor. Gurung sustained minor injuries in the incident and was rushed to the Civil Service Hospital, Minabhawan. He was discharged after some treatment.
