Nepal Army has inactivated a socket bomb found in a brick kiln at Kanthapur of Kalika6 on June 12.

NA from Gorakhdal Battalion inactivated the bomb found in Pandey Brick Kiln, police said. An unidentified gang planted the bomb in the office from a window, Keshav Pandey, proprietor of the Kiln said.

Kalilka Police Post was informed immediately after the bomb was found in the kiln and police called army for disposal of the bomb, Pandey said. 

Police said that investigation of the incident is underway.

On September 4, 2011, an unidentified gang had planted a pressure cooker bomb in the kiln.
