The District Court on Sunday sent seven murder suspects to the judicial custody. Family members of Man Mohan Adhikari had filed an FIR against the seven persons accusing them of murdering Adhikari (32) of Byas Muncipality-11 on October 16. A single bench of District Judge Krishna Prasad Paudel has ordered that the murderer accused youth be sent to the judicial custody, informed court official Surya Parsad Bhandari. Adhikari and the youths had some altercation in that night while they were drinking alcohol at a shop run by Binju Adhikari at the end of Madi River bridge. Later, Adhikari’s body was found in mysterious circumstances at the mid of the bridge in that night. Police had arrested the youth and were investigating the case thereafter. The arrested youth have been identified as Gopal Bhujel (31) of Bhandara, Chitwan; Sudip Karki (19) of Jhasebhar, Sindhuli; Hira Bhujel (17) of Tandi, Chitwan; Sunil Magar (16) of Phulchok, Chitwan; Ravi Shrestha (16) of Suryapur, Chitwan; Shankar Lama (18) of Kamal Nagar, Chitwan; and Arjun Shrestha (23) of Mathauli, Chitwan.
