A 36-year-old woman has filed a complaint in the District Police Office on December 14 accusing 29-year-old Kalash Giri of Biratnagar Sub-metropolitan-1 of trying to rape her. According to Pramod Kharel, DSP of District Police Office, Morang, the victim had filed the complaint saying that the accused tried to rape her by entering her house while she was sleeping. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted in Koshi Regional Hospital on the same day, said DSP Kharel. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing and search for the accused is underway, he added.
