Youth and students of Rajbiraj staged a huge protest rally on Monday against the government for disregarding the demands of Madhes protest that has protracted for five months now. The rally that began from the stadium circled different areas of the town. The youths chanted slogans such as “Madheshi’s demands be addressed”, “police brutality is stopped”, “declare the school areas as peace-zone”, among others. President of Sadbhawana Party-affiliated student council Kishor Kumar Yadav threatened to further intensify the protest if the government fails to meet the demands of Madheshi people.
