Supporters of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha have staged a demonstration in front of Rautahat District Administration Office by laying the dead body of Sheikh Mahiruddin, who has shot during a clash with the police three months ago in Gaur and succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. Agitating Madhesi Morcha has put forward a four-point demand including granting martyr’s status to Mahiruddhin, compensation to family members, among others. Mahiruddin died while undergoing treatment in Birgunj on Sunday. He had sustained bullet injuries.
