A girl with disability who was locked in a shed for goats in Ilam municipality, has been rescued. The girl was rescued from a village near Thobeychowk in Ilam municipality-2 on Tuesday. The girl was locked in a shed a bit further from the house by her family because she would shout and cry throughout the night. The girl was rescued and conducive environment was created for her reentry into the house with the help of Human Rights Defenders, organizations working in the field of people with disabilities, journalists, officials from DDC and the police.
