A teacher of Gyan Kunj Secondary School of Jumkekula was arrested on the charges of rape. 30-year-old Krishna K.C was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim's family. According to inspector Santosh Roka of Area Police Office Tulsipur, the victim 9th-grade student and was taking tuition with K.C. He raped the 14-year-old girl while she was returning to her home after finishing her tuition with him. The incident took place on February 18. Earlier they tried to settle the case among themselves without informing the police. But the case came to the police after their attempt to settle the case failed.
