A girl, who had fallen unconscious, died mysteriously in Gaur Municipality-8 of Rautahat district on Monday. Komal Kumari Jaiswal (14) aka Nikki of Sisautiya VDC-3 of Sarlahi district has been living at a rented room in Gaur to attend the school. She was a seventh grader at the Kems English School in the district. According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, the girl, who was rushed to the hospital for treatment after falling unconscious in her rented room, was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctors at the District Hospital in Gaur. Police, however, have suspected that she might have been murdered as various bruises were seen on her body. Inspector Prahlad Lamichhane said the investigation in under way and the truth would be revealed after the forensic test.
