Black-flag shown to Sapkota in Rautahat

Cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front demonstrated showing a black flag to the Minister for Forest Agni Sapkota in Gaur of Rautahat today. Minister Sapkota was supposed to take stock of Barahawa Lake Conservation Campaign in the district headquarters Gaur. The front’s district coordinator Ramnibas Yadav said that they were compelled to demonstrate as they had banned ministers and high profile personalities from entering the district. Following the demonstration, Forst Minister Sapkota returned to Purenwa-based Nepali Army Batallion at around 12:00 noon shortening his program.

Earlier in the day, minister Sapkota took stock of conservation measures in Nariban Lake of Sarlahi. He also submitted the conservation responsibility to the committee’s chairperson Raj Kumar Sah as reference. Baban Singh, a central member of the FederalSocialist Forum Nepal, demanded that the theSadbhawana party take action against its Assistant General Secretary andBarahawa Lake Stakeholder’s Committee Coordinator Ajay Gupta because he had accompanied Forest Minister Sapkota to the district.
