The District Court Siraha on Tuesday slapped a jail term of 8 years to Raj Kishor Yadav, a resident of Mirchaiya municipality-7, after finding him guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl. A single bench district judge Rajendra Adhikari handed down the sentence and imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000. The victim family complained a filed against Yadav on 16th of June and was arrested on 17th of June. The victim underwent a medical examination at District hospital Siraha on the same day of complained filed.

Meanwhile, The District Court Siraha slapped a jail term of 3 and half year to Suresh Kumar Yadav,24, a resident of Bhediya VDC-1, after finding him guilty of raping a 13-year-old girl. A single bench district judge Amrit Bahadur Basnet handed down the sentence. According to the police, he was arrested on 7th of May after the victim complained filed against him. She went under medical examination at District hospital Siraha on the same day.
