Man sentenced to 3 years in prison for attempted rape

Chitwan District Court has sentenced 21-year-old Govinda Nepali, a resident of Gauriganj in Bharatpur municipality-8, to 3 years in prison for attempting rape on a 15-year-old girl.
The bench of Judge Ramnath Poudyal made the decision. The victim's family had filed the complaint in District Police Office on July 9 stating that Nepali had attempted rape on the girl on June 2.
