Man held for rape attempt of minor

Police have arrested Maite Tamang, 22, of Bhattedanda in Dhulikhel Municipality-13 on April 4 on the charge of attempting to rape a 12-year-old girl. The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on April 4 following which the police arrested the accused on the same day. The victim underwent a medical examination at District Health Office on April 4.
