A man has been arrested in Udayapur in accusation of trying to abduct a boy. Police arrested 32-year-old Lablai Mahato, a resident of Gaurpur-3, Siraha, while he was taking a 9-year-old boy to Siraha from Udayapur on Thursday. Police arrested him from Katari municipality-6. Mahato had lured the boy into getting on his motorbike while he was playing. The boy's friend had informed his parents after he saw his friend being taken forcibly on a motorcycle. According to DSP Dipak Kumar Basnet, Police Chief of Katari Area Police Office, they were able to rescue the boy because his parents informed the police about the incident over the phone immediately after knowing about it. Police have confiscated a motorbike bearing plate-number SA 6 PA 2710 from Mahato.
