An Indian national has been arrested for raping his daughter on October 29.

A 35-year-old man of Sitamadi, India and renting a room at Malangawa N.P.10 had raped the girl the same day while her mother had gone to Janakpur.

The incident became public after neighbors responded to the girl's shout for help.

The victim is undergoing treatment at Sarlahi hospital and her condition is normal, police said.
