(Update) The family of Ben Bahadur Darji, 61, of Kuibhir5 has registered a case against local youths at the District Police Office Okhaldhunga on October 29.According to Ben Bahadur, 11 local youths including Bhakta Bhujel, Komal Bhujel, Prabesh Rai, Govinda Koirala, Lochan Adhikari, Rohsan Adhikari, Amir Rai, Bijay Ghimire, Surendra Shrestha had assaulted his family accusing them of entering the house of a local Lal Bahadur Bhujel on October 23. The victim has filed a case against all 11 persons. Ben Bahadur said that seven persons of his family, including him, his wife Krishna Maya Darji, sons Manish, Dipendra, Nagendra, daughter, and nephew were injured in the incident." They suddenly attacked us with split bamboo and lathi while we were observing the festival of Dashain," he said. Krishna Maya is undergoing treatment at community hospital Okhaldhunga. Inspector Bheshraj Katwal of the DPO said that necessary actions would be taken after summoning the accused. The victim's family has demanded action according to the Caste Discrimination Act (Crime and Punishment).

Ben Bahadur Darji, 61, of Kuibhir5 had filed a case of caste discrimination against 11 persons including Bhakta Bhujel, Komal Bhujel on the charges of beating him for entering the house of Lal Bahadur Bhujel on October 29, 2012. According to the victim, the perpetrators had agreed to provide 98 thousand rupees as treatment cost, transportation cost and compensation at the meeting held at DPO on November 1.
