Adolescent girls being trafficked to Pakistan rescued in Kanchanpur

An adolescent girl who was being trafficked to Pakistan was rescued from Kanchanpur's western checkpoint on Wednesday.
Maiti Nepal Kanchanpur rescued the girl of Bhadaure VDC of Pokhara while she was trafficked to Pakistan through the Indian route.
Maiti Nepal Kanchanpur Coordinator Maheswori Bhatta said they rescued the girl suspecting that she might fall prey to traffickers in Pakistan.
The police arrested the rescued girl along with Bharat Sunar of Dhading. Maiti Nepal shared the information that the girl had already reached Pakistan via Kathmandu-Dubai through an agent earlier too.
The rescued girl will be handed over to her family, shared Maiti Nepal.
