Representatives of Karnali Transport entrepreneurs association and Chandannath private limited have clashed in Jumla bus park on Friday. The clash ensued after a group of people affiliated with Karnali Transport entrepreneurs association reached the office of Chandannath private limited at bus-park and tore the ticket booklet, also manhandling the employees present there. Karnali Transport entrepreneurs association has been protesting the local administration's decision to allow Chandannath private limited to operate buses in Jumla. It is thought that the Karnali Transport entrepreneurs association has been attempting to maintain it's syndicate in transportation service in Jumla. According to local witnesses, the situation has calmed after police dispersed the crowd by resorting to baton-charge. The situation at the bus-park now remains normal, informed DSP Bishnuhari Koirala.
