A person has been found dead at his own house in Phurumbu VDC-1 of Taplejung. Lal Bahadur Khadka, 42, was found dead at his own house. Police has initiated investigation into the incident keeping in view possible murder behind Khadka's death. Khadka who used to live in a rented apartment with his family at Buddha chowk of Taplejung municipality-7 had come to Phurumbu to tend to his cardamom farm on Monday. Khadka who had communicated with his family over telephone until late night on Monday was found dead on Tuesday. Injuries, suspected to be sustained from knife attack have been found on his neck and other parts of the body. The door to his room was found locked from inside, while the window was found open. Locals informed the police after they noticed that Khadka did not wake up until late morning on Tuesday. The team of police broke the door and found Khadka dead. The site of the incident is at a distance of around five hours walk from the district headquarter.  update.................... Police on Monday paraded three persons, who were arrested on charge of murder of a local businessman in the district. Businessman Lal Bahadur Khadka was murdered on the night of June 7. The suspects are identified as Arjun Lechharbo Limbu, Sandeep Lechharbo Limbu and Himal Lechharbu Limbu of Furumbu of the district.
