A Dalit community of Baglung Municipality-2, Rudrepipal has lodged a complaint against local Tara Subedi on the charges of discriminating after inviting them to his daughter’s wedding. They have lodged a complaint against Subedi on July 11 through Rudrepipal Tole Development organization demanding legal treatment. The accused of caste discrimination, Subedi is a former Police sub-inspector and chief in Baglung women cell. The Dalit community accused him of performing caste discrimination and inhumane behavior to them. About 20 Dalit families were informed later not to attend the wedding ceremony. The accused party is denying caste discrimination however discussion was held among the party according to Police sub-inspector Chakra Bahadur Singh.
