Woman Murdered by Unidentified Group

धनुषा । चैत ५ गते

खरिहानी गाविस-३ की ६२ वर्षीय माकोदेवी चमारलाई ०६९ चैत ३ गते अज्ञात समूहले घरमा सुतिरहेको बेला धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेका छन् ।

मध्यराति १२ देखि १ बजेको समयमा पाँच-छ जनाको सङ्ख्यामा रहेका समूहले टाउकोमा धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गरिएकोले माकोदेवीको घटनास्थलमै मृत्यु भएको र्इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयका इन्स्पेक्टर रमेश देवले बताए । मृतकको शव पोष्टमार्टमको लागि जनकपुर अञ्चल अस्पतालमा राखिएको छ ।

माकोदेवीले छिमेकी रहमत धुनियासँग घरसहित पाँच धुर जग्गा खरिद गरेकी थिइन् । घरजग्गा खाली गर्न पटकपटक भने पनि धुनियाले आलटाल गर्दै आएका थिए । जग्गा विषयमा चैत ३ गते बेलुका धुनिया र माकोदेवीबीच समान्य विवाद भएको इन्स्पेक्टर देवले बताए । विवाद साम्य भएपछि अबेर राति घरको दलानमा सुतिरहेकी माकोदेवीलाई अज्ञात समूहले धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेको हो ।

प्रहरीले घटनामा सङ्लग्न रहेका आशङ्कामा खरिहानी-३ की रहमत धुनियाको पत्नी सकिला खातुनलाई ०६९ चैत ४ गते गिरफ्तार गरी अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको इन्स्पेक्टर देवले जानकारी दिए । घटनामा सङ्लग्न रहेको आशङ्का गरिएका रहमतसहित अन्य व्यक्तिहरू फरार रहेको प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ ।

Mako Devi Chamar, 62, of Kharihani3 has been murdered by an unidentified group using a sharp weapon while she was sleeping at her home on March 16.

 

The group of 5 to 6 people attacked her with sharp weapons on her head at around midnight. The victim died on the spot according to the Inspector Ramesh Dev of area police office. The dead body of the deceased has been sent to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for postmortem. 

 

Maka Devi had bought a land with a house from the neighbor Rahamat Dhuniya. Dhuniya had been lingering to vacant the house despite being repeatedly asked to leave from time to time.

 

There was a minor dispute between the two on March 16, Inspector Dev said. She was murdered by an unidentified group while sleeping at her house following the dispute.

 

Police have arrested Sakila Khatun, wife of Rahamat Dhuniya of Kharihani-3 on March 17 in suspicion of her involvement. Other suspects, including Rahamat are at large, according to the police office.
