देउरी गाविस-२ का ३० वर्षीय विश्वनाथ साह आफ्नै पत्नीलाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा ०६९ चैत १३ गते गिरफ्तार भएका छन् ।

 

पीडितले दिएको उजुरीका आधारमा विश्वनाथलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको इन्स्पेक्टर कुशवहादुर थापाले जानकारी दिए ।

 

पीडितले आफ्नो इच्छाविपरीत पटक-पटक बलात्कार गरेको उजुरी प्रहरीसमक्ष दिएपछि उनलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ ।

 

'यौन सम्पर्क राख्न आफू तयार नहुँदा पनि कुटपिट गरेर पति विश्वनाथले जबरजस्ती गरे,' पीडितले उजुरीमा उल्लेख गरेकी छिन् ।

 

गिरफ्तार भएका विश्वनाथलाई ०६९ चैत १३ गते जिल्ला अदालतले सात दिन हिरासतमा राखेर अनुसन्धान गर्न प्रहरीलाई अनुमति दिएको छ ।

 

साहमाथि लागेको अभियोग प्रमाणित भए वैवाहिक जबरजस्ती करणी मुद्दाको ३ नम्बर महलअन्तर्गत ३ महिनादेखि ६ महिनासम्म कैद सजाय हुने कानूनी प्रावधान छ ।

 

गिरफ्तार भएका विश्वनाथले अर्को विवाह गरेको आरोपमा उनीमाथि बहुविवाहको मुद्दासमेत चलिरहेको इन्स्पेक्टर थापाले वताए । मनोहरकुमार पोखरेल

Police have arrested Bishwanath Sah, 30, of Deuri2 on March 26 on charge of raping his wife.

 

Inspector Kush Bahadur Thapa said that Bishwanath was arrested following the complaint registered by his wife. The District Police Office said that he was arrested after his wife filed a complaint stating that he had raped her repeatedly.

 

"My husband beat me up and raped me though I was not ready for sex," the victim stated in her complaint.

 

The District Court has ordered to keep him in remand for seven days on March 26 for investigation.

If convicted, Bishwanath will be sentenced from 3 to 6 months.

 

Inspector Thapa said that the accused was also being charged under polygamy.
