Police has beaten a business person in Baitadi. Severely injured by the beating of police, 25 years old Ram Singh Saud of Sarmali 1, Khalangaa has been referred to Seti Zonal Hospital for further treatment from the local health post. According to Saud's brother Police beat Saud over a dispute in his hotel on September 9 during the feast. He said, "Dispute arose when a customer in the hotel denied to pay money and all of sudden the police came and beat my brother". According to DSP of the district police office Baalnarsingh Rana, Saud was drunk and creating a row and while trying to take him in custody Saud further scolded the police in response to which Police beat him. He further stated that no action shall be taken right now as they do not have complete information, however, Junior Constable Prem Balayar and Lokendra Sahi have been called up for further investigation. They shall be punished if found guilty said DSP Rana. जिल्लाको तल्लोस्वराडमा प्रहरीले एक व्यापारिलाई कुटेको छ । प्रहरीको कुटाईबाट गम्भिर घाइते भएका शर्माली १ खलङाका २५ वर्षिय स्थानिय व्यापारी राम सिंह साउदको स्थानिय स्वथ्य चौकीमा उपचार हुन नसकेपछी थप उपचारका लागि सेती अञ्चल अस्पताल धनगढी रिफर गरिएको छ । २४ भदौ शुक्रबार मेला लागि रहेको स्थानिय बजार शर्मालिमा होटेल सन्चालन गरी रहेका साउदले आफ्नो होटेलमा नास्ता गरी पैसा दिन नमानेका ग्राहकसँग केही वादवीवाद भएपछी एक्कासी प्रहरीले कुटेका घाइतेका दाजु कृष्ण साउदले बताए । उनले भने, "मदिरा सेवान गरेर लट्ठ परेका प्रहरी जवानहरुले विनाकारण भाईलाई कुटपिट गरेको छ । " जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय बैतडीका प्रहरी नायव उपरिक्षक बालनरसिङ राणाले घाइते रामसिङ् साउदले मदिरा सेवन गरेको र होहल्ला गरिरहेकाले प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिदा उल्टै गाली गलौच गरेकाले कुट्पिट गरेको जानकारी प्राप्त भएको बताए । घटनाको विस्त्रित जानकारी नाआएकाले अहिले केही भन्न नमिल्ने बताउदै घटनामा सङ्लग्न प्रहरी जवान प्रेम बलायर र लोकेन्द्र शाहीलाई झिकाएको र दोशी पाए कार्वाही गर्ने उनले बताए ।
