देपुरा रूपैठा-४ की २५ वर्षीया रोक्साना खातुनलाई ०६९ चैत २१ गते घरमा भुत लगाएको भन्दै छिमेकी ओलिस कवारी उनको पत्नी सरफनी खातुन, छोरी मुस्नी खातुन, ज्वाई सिल्टु कवारी, स्थानीय तसलिम कवारी र कासिम कवारी समेत मिली घरमा कुटपिट गरी घाइते बनाएका छन् । पीडित घाइते महिलाको जनकपुर अञ्चल अस्पतालमा ०६९ चैत २१ गतेदेखि उपचार भइरहेको छ ।

 

पीडकहरूले पीडित रोक्सानको साथबाट दुई आना सुन, ५ हजार रूपियाँ र जेठाजू खुरसैत लहेरीको साथबाट १५ हजार रूपियाँ समेत खोसेर लगेको पीडित परिवारले जानकारी दियो । काम सकेर घर आउँदा भाइबुहारी कुटिएको देखेपछि झगडा छुट्याउन जाँदा आफूलाई कुटपिट गरी पैसा समेत खोसेको पीडित खुरसैतले बताए । पीडित महिलाको ससुरा मोतीराम लहेरीलाई ०६९ चैत २१ गते प्रहरीले उल्टै गिरफ्तार गरेको पीडितपक्षले बतायो । पीडित महिलाको प्रहरी निगरानीमा उपचार भइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ ।

Roxana Khatun, 25, of Depura Rupaitha4 has been beaten and injured by her neighbor Owlish Kowari, his wife Sarfani Khatun, brother-in-law Siltu Kowari, daughter Musni Khatun and locals Taslim Kowari and Kashim Kawari on April 3 on charge of practicing witchcraft.

 

The victim is getting medical treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.

 

The accused snatched gold, 5 thousand rupees from Roxana and 15,000 rupees from her brother in-law, according to the victim. Khursait said that he was beaten by the group after he tried to stop the group from attacking Roxana.

 

The victim’s side claimed that the police arrested Roxana's father-in-law Motiram Laheri on April 3 for no reason. The victim is getting treatment in protection of police, District Police Office said.
