A 55-year-old Man was killed while four others sustained injuries when two groups belonging to Muslim and Yadav community clashed in Bidhyanagar VDC of the district on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Mulnalal Yadav. He died at around 3:35pm in the afternoon while undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College. Others injured in the incident were Bal Govind Yadav, 45, Bikram Yadav, 23, Tilak Ram Yadav, 60 and Rima Yadav, 25. They are undergoing treatment at Shivaraj Hospital in Bahadurgunj. According to police the two groups had clashed over an old grudge dating back to Bijaya Dashami. Police have taken 4 from the Muslim community into custody for investigation into the incident. A large number of police was deployed at the site of the incident to bring the tense situation under control. Basant Banjade
