Police said a man was killed while trying to intervene into a brutal weapon attack between his children in Bakauli-1 of Sunsari. The 48-year-old Krishna Kumar Gautam died on the way to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, informed the police. He had suffered deep head injuries. Earlier, on Monday evening, Gautam’s two sons, 18-year-old Sandesh Gautam and 24-year-old Subash Gautam, had an altercation with each other under the influence of marijuana, according to police. The situation had turned ugly after the younger brother resorted to the attack to the brother. The father, meanwhile, had tried to intervene into the fight. Subsequently, the weapon had landed onto his head. Meanwhile, police detained all the family members for their alleged involvement in the incident. They have been kept at the Pakali Area Police Office for further investigation and interrogation. However, the final rituals have been carried out, said the police सुनसरीको बकलौरी–१ का ४८ वर्षीय कृष्णकुमार गौतमको मृत्यु आफ्नै छोराको हातबाट भएको शङ्कामा प्रहरीले गौतम परिवारका सबै सदस्यलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ । सोमबार साँझ गाँजा खाएका दाजुभाइबीच भएको झगडा छुट्याउँदा कान्छा छोरा १८ वर्षीय सन्देश गौतमले २४ वर्षीय दाजु सुवास गौतमलाई प्रहार गरेको खुकुरी बाबु कृष्णकुमारको टाउकामा बज्रन पुगेको थियो । टाउकामा धारिलो खुकुरीको प्रहार भएबाट घटनास्थलमै ढलेका बाबु गौतमको उपचारका लागि बिपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान पुर्याउँदा मृत्यु भइसकेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । गाउँघर छरछिमेकमा रुखबाट लडेको र घरमा नै लडेको भनेर गरिएको हल्ला झुटो भएको असुसन्धानका क्रममा खुलेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । अनुसन्धानपछि दुवै छोरा र श्रीमती कल्पना गौतमलाई समेत पक्राउ गरिएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पकलीले जानकारी दिएको छ । मृतक कृष्णकुमारको आज दाहसंस्कार गरिएको छ । दुबै छोरा र श्रीमती कल्पनालाई समेत अनुसन्धान तथा सोधपुछका लागि इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पकलीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ ।
