Shanta Rana Bohara, a resident of Shaarada Municipality- 8, Marke Naaula, has reportedly mistreated Dharma Bahadur Bishwokarma, a Dalit man from the same place, for entering her house. Bishwokarma was mistreated by the woman when he had gone to the woman's house to get meat. He has lodged a complaint at police against the incident. "The Dalit and non-Dalit community had also run into a dispute around two years ago after some Dalits were mistreated while fetching water in a public well." Chairman of Dalit Association, Yagya Bishwokarma said that Dalits in the remote areas were compelled to face discrimination time and again due to the existing superstition in the society.
