Women Fed Human Excreta On Allegation of Being Witch

धनुषा । वैशाख १३ गते बोक्सीको आरोपमा एक वृद्ध महिलालाई अभक्ष खुवाइएको घटनाको अनुसन्धान गरी जाहरी दर्ता गर्ने जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ । उपचारपछि जिल्ला प्रहरी पुगेकी पीडित परिवार जाहेरी दर्ता नगरेकोले दर्ता गराउन इन्सेक प्रतिनिधि तथा महिला अधिकारकर्मीलाई गुहारेकी छिन् । नौवाखोर प्रसाही-९ की ६० वर्षीया देवकी साहलाई ०७० वैशाख ७ गते बोक्सीको आरोपमा छिमेकी रमेश्वर साह उनको छोरा दिने भन्ने दिनेश साह र उनको बुहारीले घरमा कुटपिट गरि अभक्षसमेत खुवाएको पीडित देवकी साहले बताइन् । बोक्सी लगाएको आरोपमा घरमा कोही नभएको मौकामा घरबाट समातेर लगि कुटपिट गर्दै छातीमा बसेर सिसीमा घोलेर राखेको दिशा खुवाएको पीडित परिवारले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा जानकारी दिएका छन् । पीडितको जनकपुर अञ्चल अस्पतालमा उपचार गराएको पीडितपक्षले जानकारी दिए । रामेश्वरको घरमा नयाँ बुहारी ल्याएदेखि भुत प्रेत लगाएर हैरान गरेको भन्दै दिशा खुवाएको प्रत्यक्षदर्शी बघचौडाका रामचन्द्र साहले बताए । पीडित देवकीको छोरा उतिमलाल साह घटना हुनु भन्दा एक घन्टा पहिले बैदेशिक रोजगारको लागि कतार जान घरबाट निस्केका थिए । आमालाई कुटपिट तथा दिशापिसाव खुवाएको घटना सुनेपछि जनकपुरबाट घर फर्केको पीडित उतिमलालले बताए । पीडितले वैशाख ९ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा जाहेरी दिए पनि प्रहरीले जाहरी दर्ता नगरी आलटाल गरेको बुझिएको छ । घटनाको सत्य तथ्य बुझी जाहेरी दर्ता गर्ने जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनायो । विनोद कुमार रविदास Dhanusha/ April 26 The District Police Office has stated that it was going to register the incident of feeding human excreta to a woman accusing her of being witch. According to the victim, she was beaten and fed human excreta on April 20 by her neighbor Rameshwar Sah, his son Dinesh Sah and his daughter-in-law, accusing her of being a witch. She received treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. The son of the victim, Umit Lal, had left home for foreign employment one hour before the incident happened. He came back immediately from Janakpur after hearing about the abuse of his mother. The family tried to lodge an FIR at the local police station on April 22, however, the police administration tried to avoid registering the case.
