The strike called by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) to protest the death of its four cadres in Saptari incident on Monday has partially affected the normal life in Kathmandu Valley on Friday. At least 25 banda enforcers were arrested from Satdobato of Lalitpur district on Friday morning, informed DSP Ishwor Karki. He said that banda enforcers were arrested while attempting to vandalize the vehicles plying the road. Meanwhile, police arrested four banda enforcers from Balkhu. SP Pradhyumna Kumar Karki said that around four banda enforcers were arrested from Balkhu. The Madhesi Front has warned of launching protest programs across the nation and demanded the amendment proposals on constitution amendment be passed with revision and put off the local elections programs. संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेसी मोर्चाले आब्हान गरेको बन्दका क्रममा ललितपुरमा अवरोध पुर्‍या उने २५ जनालाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ। २५ जना बन्दकर्तालाइ सातदोबाटोबाट प्रहरीले विहानै नियन्त्रणमा लिएको डिएसपी इश्वर कार्कीले बताए। सातदोबाटो चोकमा बसेर सवारी साधन रोक्न र तोडफोड गर्ने प्रयास गरेका कारण नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको उनले बताए। उनीहरु सबै संघीय लोकतान्त्रिक राष्ट्रिय मंचका कार्यकर्ता हुन् । त्यस्तै काठमाडौं प्रहरीले पनि बल्खुबाट ४ जना बन्दकर्तालाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ। बन्द गराउँदै हिँडन ४ जना नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको एसपी प्रद्युम्नकुमार कार्कीले बताए। सप्तरी घटनाको विरोध संविधान संशोधन गर्नुपर्ने र स्थानीय निकायको चुनाव मिति स्थगित गर्नुपर्ने मागसहित मोर्चा आन्दोलनमा छ। बन्दको उपत्यकामा आंशिक प्रभाव परेको छ भने तराईका जिल्ला पूर्ण रुपमा बन्द भएका छन्।
