The cadres of Madhesi morcha have warned that they will disrupt the work in local level until their demands are not addressed. According to INSEC district representative Durga Pariyar of Siraha, the cadres have pad locked the municipality and village council on March 17 saying that no election is possible before addressing their demands. The cadres have been protesting against the government saying that the announcement of election not in favour of Madhesi people. They have shown black flag as a sign of protest and padlocked 11 village council offices and municipalities. Leader Krishna Bahadur Yadav of the morcha accused government of trying to inflict conflict in terai by announcing the election before addressing their demands. SP Shekhar Koirala said that the police administration have provided security to the people by breaking the lock in the office. There has been no serious incidents reported during these periods according to the police. मधेसी मोर्चाका कार्यकर्ताले आफूहरूको माग सम्बोधन नगरेसम्म तराई मधेसका विभिन्न जिल्लामा स्थानीय तहमा कामकाज गर्न नदिने चेतावनी दिएका छन् । इन्सेक सिरहा जिल्ला प्रतिनिधि दुर्गा परियारका अनुसार माग सम्बोधन नभएसम्म कुनै पनि निर्वाचन हुन नसक्ने भन्दै मधेसी मोर्चाले सिरहाका नगरपालिका र गाउँपालिकाहरूमा चैत ४ गते तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । सरकारले घोषणा गरेको स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन मधेस विरोधी भएको भन्दै मोर्चाका नेता तथा कार्यकर्ताहरूले लहान नगरपालिका, धनगढीमाई नगरपालिका, गोलबजार नगरपालिका, मिर्चैया नगरपालिका, सिरहा नगरपालिका र कल्याणपुर नगरपालिकासहित जिल्लाका ११ गाँउ पालिकाको कार्यालयहरूमा कालो झण्डासहित तालाबन्दी गरेका हुन । मोर्चाका नेता कृष्ण बहादुर यादवले आफूहरूको मागलाई बेवास्ता गरी सरकारले स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन घोषणा गरेर मधेशमा द्वन्द्व सृजना गरेको आरोप लगाए । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सिरहाका एसपी शेखर कोइरालाले मोर्चाले स्थानीय निकायहरूमा तालाबन्दी गरे पनि प्रहरीले ताला फुटाएर सुरक्षा प्रदान गरेको बताए । सो क्रममा कुनै अप्रिय घटना नभएको एसपी कोइरालाले जानकारी दिए । बिना सूचना एक्कासी कार्यालयहरूमा तालाबन्दी हुँदा कामका लागि पुगेका सेवाग्राहीहरू निरास भएर फर्किएका थिए ।
