Kalikot/May 13 Police have arrested Jaidan Khadka of Manma VDC on May 12 on charge of attempting to rape a woman. Locals had informed police after they found out that Khadka was threatening to kill her if she did not let him rape her. The victim was sleeping with her 15-year-old daughter when the incident took place. She said that she had retaliated previous rape attempts by him but this time he had come with a gun. The police arrested him with a home-made gun. Meanwhile, the victim has filed a case at the District Police Office demanding action against the perpetrator.
