Three persons, including a member of Janakpur Bureau of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal from Bardibas, have been arrested from Mahottari in possession of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along with planning manuals. Police on Sunday made public Mohammad Adan of Dhanusha Municiplaity-5, Pran Kumar Lama of Dhanushadham Municiplaity-8 and Mithila Chauhan of Dhanushadham Municiplaity-8 with various equipment used in making bombs. Police seized explosives, including two sets of watch, six detonators and manuals. Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamsal said they had also found Aluminium Phosphate, an insecticide, with the suspects. SP Lamsal added that the accused had planned to detonate bombs in 18 government offices to obstruct the local polls. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Gyan Prasad Paudel in Gauridanda, Bardibas Municipality-3 where they had been statying on rent.
