Debate between two major parties on campaigning during 'silence period' has taken the form of clash. Cadres of Nepali congress and CPN UML had clashed with each other on 12 May, Friday in Kaike rural municipality Baijibara over a dispute on campaigning during silence period of election. One policeman has been injured in the clash. The dispute turned into clash on Friday when CPN UML cadres threw stones at cadres of Nepali congress when the congress cadres started campaigning at evening of Friday which was the 'silence period' of the election. According to district police office, one of the cadres of Nepali congress has also been injured by the stone.
