Kailali, 21 A WHRD and her son have been injured after her husband stabbed her with a knife over a dispute on property. Bijayraj Batta, of Geta-5 had stabbed his wife Bhagirathi Bhatta, on 21st April. The victim is being treated at teaching hospital Kathmandu since 19th of May after treatment in India. WHRD alliance is appealing to different organizations and government to provide funds for her treatment. Police is unable to arrest the perpetrator. According to local HRDs police are not responsive in this regard.
