Achham/May 30 Achham police have filed a case of rape against Ganga Bhul, 20, of Oligaon on May 30 on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl for three days. The girl’s mother had filed a complaint against Bhul on May 29 accusing him of holding her daughter hostage for three days from May 25 at a cattle shed and raping her. Police arrested Bhul at his home on May 29 and detained him at the custody of District Police Office, head constable Bhupendra Singh Samanta informed. It is learned that the girl has sustained injuries in chest and chin and that her medical check up was conducted at District Hospital. Police said that though the villagers had tried to settle the case in the village, the incident came into light because the girl’s mother was not ready to compromise. On May 30, District Court has remanded to Bhul to custody for 10 days.
