4 people have been injured when they were physically assaulted by a team led by independent mayoral candidate of Gaur Municipality ward-2 on June 23. Among the four, Umesh Das has sustained grave injuries on his head. Jyoti Paswan and Jitan Ray are among others who were also injured in the attack. They were beaten by the team during its door to door campaign around 10:30 in the evening. The victims say that they were threatened before of getting beaten up in case they vote some other candidates. According to the victims, the police has remained silent on this issue. गौर नगरपालिका वडा २ मा गएराती निर्वाचनको विषयमा भएको झगडामा ४ जना घाइते भएका छन्। घाइते हुनेमा सोहि वडाका दलित बस्तिका उमेश दासको टाउकोमा चोट लागेर गम्भीर घाइते भएका छन् भने ज्योति पासवान,जितन राय लगायतलाई सामान्य चोटपटक लागेको छ। गौर नगरपालिका वडा नम्बर २ का स्वतन्त्र उम्मेदवार भारत साहको नेतृत्वमा गएको समुहले दलित टोलमा भोट मलाई देउ नत्र कुटपिट गर्ने धम्की दिंदै चुनाव प्रचार प्रसार गर्ने क्रममा राति करिब १०:३० बजे चार जनालाई कुटपिट गरेको पिडित पक्षले जनाएको छ । प्रहरी कारवाही गर्ने प्रक्रियामा मौन रहेको पिडित पक्षले बताएको छ ।
