As per the announced program, Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N ) halted transport in a section of East West Highway in Nawalpur, Sarlahi for an hour on Thursday. RJP-N has been agitating demanding for the allocation of local level on the basis of population through constitutional amendment. They have also been doing the anti election activities. Police had make the vehicles stop at Lal Bandi and Hariwan. Though security personnel were deployed in large number, they didn't interfere RJP-N cadres and leaders while halting the highway. राष्टिय जनता पार्टी नेपालद्वारा घोषित कार्यक्रमअनुसार बिहिबार पूर्वपश्चिम राजमार्ग अन्र्तगत सर्लाही खण्डको नवलपुरमा एक घण्टा चक्काजाम गरेको थियो । संविधान संशोधन तथा जनसंख्याको आधारमा स्थानीय तह निर्धारण हुनुपर्ने माग गर्दै राष्टिय जनता पार्टीले आन्दोलन गर्दै आएको छ । साथै स्थानीय निकायको चुनावलाई बहिस्कार गर्ने खाले कार्यक्रम गर्दै आएको छ । राममार्ग अवरुद्ध गर्दा लालबन्दी तथा हरिवनमा गाडीहरुलाई प्रहरीले रोकेर राखेको थियो । ठूलो संख्यामा सुरक्षाकर्मी परिचालन गरिए पनि राजमार्ग राजपा कार्यकर्ता तथा नेताले अवरुद्ध गर्दा प्रहरीले कुनै हस्तक्षेप गरेको थिएन ।
