Locals led by Dil Bahadur Bogati (Sarki) of Thampaldhap VDC-6 have banished his son Som Bahadur Bogati (Sarki) from the society on charge of having an inter-caste marriage. The victim appealed INSEC representative on June 3 to take steps for his return. Som Bahadur had performed a love marriage with Chameli Nepali, 19, of ward no. 5 of same VDC on January 8. Dil Bahadur had barred his son from entering his house saying that the latter had married a lower-caste girl. The victim said that he has been prevented from entering the village. He has decided to take legal and social steps as per the suggestion of INSEC representative.
