A local Dalit man was thrashed by newly elected ward chairperson of Chandrakot rural municipality-5, Gwagha. Chairperson Tek Bahadur Pun on 16 July at around 3 pm hit the man with disability, Bahadur BK, sitting near the gate of his house. Discussion is being held after complaint was lodged against the incident at Chandrakot Area Police Office. According to family, BK has turn deaf due to Pun's attack. Meanwhile, BK said that he was attacked when he reminded Pun of his promise to distribute GI Sheet equivalent to NPR 5000 during his election campaign. Meanwhile, Pun too admitted of thrashing BK for his rumors.
